outline of leftist literature movement in ap

modern telugu literature influenced by Gurajada, Veeresalingam and other reformers was initially a part of national movement against colonialism. all these modern writers stood for a telugu near to the masses. the direction changed time-to-time on the basis of developments n India and around the world. most of the telugu modern poets and novel writers were influenced by french, russian and to some extent chineese writers. this influence brought a new wave of poetry in telugu literature. left thought became a center point of larger section of telugu writers. among the great poets we can find mahakavi srisri and gunturu seshandra sharma. mong the novelists dhasaradhi is a giant. the telangana movement enriched telugu literature in novel and poetry here also both dasaradhis are great leaders. during freedom movement itself we have progressive writers association called abhyudaya rachayatala sangam. it produced great writers like kodavatigantikutumbarao(K.K). raavi saastri and critics like k.v.ramana reddy. these are the only few names among dozens of modern left writers. it doesnot stop with russian and chineese revolution, indian freedom movement, the great telangana struggle, but, extended on cultural revolution, naxalbari spring thunder brought young enthusiastic angry poets writers all over india. this anger against the existing system carved 'digambara kavulu' in telugu literature. these young fellows created waves in telugu literature and brought new outlook among youngsters. srisri who was always alive to adopt new things leaded digambara kavul, thirugabadu[revolt]kavulu and others from left movement as Virasam 'viplava rachayatala sangam' which is made up in vishakapatnam. jwala mukhi, nikhileswar, charabanda raju, x-ray and so many stalwarts made telugu as a sharp weapon to cut the feudal culture at the same time, dalit panther movement in maharastra influenced telugu writers and created dalit literature. and the neo-feminist movement also entered telugu literature, volga is one among them only. shivasagar, the rising sun of oppressed voice also took into his lap the angry outburst of dalits and became synonomus of dalit and left poetry. infact, the telugu literature once fed by kings and zamindars, but, lateron it lived in the national movement and peoples struggles. this brought a change in literature and cultural activities of telugu language. we are enriched withwriters organisations consisting of revolutionaries dalits and women. cultural organisations of tribals and folklore came into fore front. for this gaddar can be credited of bringing the voice of folk literature into the revolutionary field. jana natya mandali and other organisations took the drama to the streets near to the people. thus, the teluguliterature of modern era has a unique character. this character compelled the media [electronic&print} and the cinema to adopt it to some extent. no other indian left literature influenced the surrounding as telugu left literature has done. it is a great thing to note that revolutionaries becam writers, writers became revolutionaries, revolutaionaries adopted arts and folk lore became revolutionaries. in the process, we can find the spring thunder of naxalbari made several brave writers as martyrs. new left literature is influenced by shedding blood also. this is a new phenomenon in literary field.

once rightly said chalam over srisris writings " If you are dare enough to see revolution then open these pages if not close it and pass it to another fellow who has interest to read the revolutionary voice. if you are content in all aspects leading leisurely life and nothing you want from this society dont read it". the same words of chalam good to these days left telugu literature also. it belongs to the people who dare to dream of another world.

నా భాష ఏది ఇక్కడ?

డిల్లీ నా దేశ రాజధానా?

మరి మా ప్రధానిని చచ్చిపొతే మా ఊరు పంపెసారెంటి?

మా డెల్టా గ్యాసు ఎవడికొ ఇచ్చెసారెంది?

సముద్రంలో కాలువ కుడా తొవ్వుకొనివ్వని ఈ దేశం నాది ఎట్లయితది?

ఇక్కడ రాజకీయలు పై అక్కడి న్యాయాధికారుల పెత్తనమ?

రాజధాని లొ మమ్మలిని మద్రాసి అంటారేంటీ?

మా అభివ్రుద్ధి కి ఈ ఉత్తరాది గొడవేమిటి?


నా దేశం నాకు కావాలి...

మా జాతుల ఐఖ్యతాదేశం కావాలి....

మా భాషలల్లొ మా పరిపాలన కావాలి...

మా రాజకీయాలు మా ఇష్టం...

every idea is a hyphotetical situation...
ideas with respect to the past, understanding the present, hoping the future is rational...
though it is hypothetical when it has good overlap of the first two parts of rationality it is the best possible
actions come out of criticism, criticism comes out of the present acts, present acts are of negative and positive of their own conscience....

when system is everything....why can one only think of the so called rightious path?

a small wave length such as two people marx and engels proposed marxism, when idea is considered,action is small,implementation is done later, where idea has a small place....

generally idea and implementation comes one after the other, other it may lead to situtaion as like that of naxal movement in ap, where they dont know which is going first

its a continous process as long as member continues
trial of ideal system is not easy until you reinstate that in the place of this prevailing one...
and it is not also possible to destroy the prevailing one easily without ratification of the alternative through social means

movements have to be developed first, then the extreme turn can be made...
in india it is evident only twice once in telangana movement and later in 1974 anti emergency and railwaystrike, both failed as a result of the system being more dedicated than those who are opposing it
